I can’t believe all the stuff I have to do around the house. I have to cook, clean and take care of changing the teddy bear’s diaper. It’s a tough life.

I made a new years resolution to get rid of my pacifier (aka na-noo) and it has been two weeks without it!!! Yeah for me! Mom and dad were giving me a hard time about being two years old and still relying on the na-noo at nights and during naps. Then one night, I was asking for it and mommy told me that the garbage man came and took them away. Apparently na-noos are for babies, not big boys like me. (Lucky for Mr. Garbage Man, our paths haven’t crossed recently). The first few days, I kept asking for my na-noo, but now it is a thing of the past.

I also had a great holiday season. Christmas was great…I got so many cool things. I also got to hang out with my buddy Caden. Aunty Lynda and Uncle Matt and Moo-Moo Kaka also came over.

So the last week I have been under the weather. It started with a little cough on Sunday and by Tuesday I could barely breathe. I really had mom and dad scared. The doctor told me I had a lung infection. Luckily I was able to get better before Christmas. I really don’t understand how I got that sick. It you look at all my recent pics, I was really trying to stay warm and bundled up.

November was a crazy month. I turned two!!!! Had a great birthday. Ba and Dada came into town to celebrate. Here are my stats
Weight – 31 lbs 5 oz (85 percentile)
Height – 3 ft. 5/8 inches (95 percentile)
Someone told me that you take a child’s height at two years old and multiply that by two and that is how tall the child is going to be when they grow up. If that is the case then I would be about 6′1″ (come back in twenty years to see if this is correct).
I also headed down to Florida for a week with mom, dad, ba, dada and natasha foi. We had so much fun. For the most part the weather was great and I got to take long walks, went to the beach, and had an amazing thanksgiving. We also went to Niyati Aunty’s wedding when we were there.
Also tonight we got to see my buddy Jai…we had a blast annoying the waiter at Amma’s Kitchen. After the mess we left, I know that they don’t want to see us again, but I have to go back for the chana batura.

So daddy’s aunt (my mama bha) came to visit me from India. That same weekend bha, dada, natasha foi, mugi kaka and stuti foi also came over. We had a blast, including celebrating dada’s birthday. Here are some pics…

So last monday I said the “L” word to my parents. I didn’t want to say it too soon…I wanted to be sure how I felt about them. As they were giving me a bath and I was having the time of my life…I realized that my parents are the best. I felt it was the perfect time to tell them. The problem is that now that I have said it, they want me to say it all the time. But I want it to mean something and I am not going to say it just for the sake of saying it…don’t you agree? To get them off my back I decided to say another big word…I finally said my name. As many of you know, my nickname is buj-ju. I have been saying that a lot but on Thursday, I wanted my parents to hear my real name – KHALIN.

My school orientation was last week. Mom and Dad took me to my preschool and I got to meet the teachers. They seemed so nice. There are five other kids in my class. There is also a guineau pig in the classroom. Mom and dad are so excited that I am going to be going to school and that I will start my learning expedition. Honestly, they have got to be kidding. First of all, I only go one day a week. I also looked around class and I just saw a lot of toys. I didn’t see any calculus or organic chemistry books sitting around.
